Coelodonta antiquitatis

The Coelodonta antiquitatis aka Woolly Rhinoceros is an extinct species of rhinoceros,  that was common throughout Europe during the Ice age.

My fossil collection

I collect the bones of this beautiful animal who lived once in the Netherlands.

To be able to catalog properly, the bones must all be photographed, including the sizes of the fossil. On this page you will find photos of the bones i own, they are all found in the North Sea.

Update: Added bones of a partial Humerus,  right Calcaneus, right Talus and a Metapode of the middle toe of the right front leg to my collection.

Not all bones are on this website. They still need to be photographed and cataloged, before adding them to this website.

A drawing of a woolly rhinoceros skeleton, in red indicates the bones I own.
